Seven Keys to Digital Acceleration Post-COVID

Unlocking the seven keys to digital acceleration for post-COVID recovery.

29 july, 2021. – The uncertainty that characterises these times is forcing companies to adapt once again, seeking solutions through the circular economy and digitalisation. That is why Vector ITC, a Softtek Company, an international technology and digital group, argues that it is time to reflect and redraw a future in which technology is the central axis. To this end, they have created a roadmap in which they develop seven key levers that will enable the digital acceleration of the business fabric in the face of recovery.

Digitalisation is the main driver for acceleration. Companies can achieve this by fostering a learning-oriented organisation, while establishing long-term relationships of trust with digitally-minded companies. It is vital to respond to market demands quickly and appropriately. To do this, we need mechanisms that allow us to adapt business strategy, budget management and the organisation itself with minimum friction and maximum flexibility. Our basis as a company must be high-performance teams working with a Lean-Agile mindset.

These levers are global actions that, although they are interconnected in many cases, together form a roadmap of actions to be taken at each step, with which, for many years, Vector ITC has been supporting companies from the beginning of their paths, becoming a key technological partner:

The impact of the pandemic has highlighted the critical need for a resilient, flexible and scalable operating model. In this sense, companies are focusing their efforts on reconfiguring their enterprise architecture with the aim of turning it into an ecosystem of modular and intelligent solutions,”, says Rafael Conde, Director of Digital & Innovation at Vector ITC.

What characterises the most innovative companies in the market is their ability to take experimentation to all corners of the organisation and, especially, close to the customer. Innovation spaces must be created, such as co-design laboratories to find disruptive solutions to emerging problems and to experiment quickly, accelerating learning cycles. This is why today we need to rethink the way we look at data, establishing a clear data strategy in the company to get the most out of the possibilities offered by Big Data and Artificial Intelligence.

To ensure the present and future profitability of our business, we must rethink the digital technologies that allow us to expand our sales channels by creating our own e-commerce marketplaces (and using third parties), as well as improve customer acquisition and retention through digital marketing and marketing automation. Through digital technologies, we must establish a close relationship with our customers, understanding their situation in real time. This allows us to develop a hyper-personalised omni-channel strategy.

In conclusion, technology has gone from being a support to a business driver, which is leading to an accelerated digitalisation of companies. This process requires a strong commitment to cutting-edge technology, based on a new business architecture model, supported by the use of Digital Platforms, with Cloud Services and always guaranteeing cybersecurity.
