Softtek Earns “Best Place to Work LGBTQ+” 2023

Softtek earns Best Place to Work LGBTQ+ by Human Rights Campaign 2023. Discover our inclusive workplace.

MONTERREY – January 9, 2023  – Softtek, a global company dedicated to helping organizations evolve through digital technology, announced it has obtained the HRC Equity MX Best Places to Work LGBTQ+ certification for the fourth consecutive year. This recognition is given by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, a US-based organization with several global partners aimed at promoting the inclusion of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer people ( LGBTQ+) in the workplace.

“We are very proud to receive the certificate for the fourth time, this year in Mexico and Argentina,” said Luis Revilla, Softtek Chief People Officer. “We were also recognized as a mentor company. All this reinforces our commitment to inclusion and diversity, promoting a work environment in which all our employees have opportunities for growth, both personally and professionally."

The HRC Foundation partnered with ADIL Diversidad e Inclusión Laboral (Alliance for Work Diversity and Inclusion) in 2016 to establish the HRC Equity MX program as the leading LGBTQ+ inclusion assessment at the corporate level in Mexico. This program conducts an annual survey that evaluates LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace within the main Mexican and multinational companies and, based on the results, awards the distinction, "Best LGBTQ+ Workplaces."

The criteria established to assess the performance and commitment of participating employers is based on the experience of implementing the Corporate Equality Index (CEI), which since its first edition in 2002 has become the main benchmark of requirements that a labor entity must meet to be effectively considered as LGBTQ+ inclusive in the United States.

"At Softtek we are convinced that although technology is a determining factor in accelerating the digital transformation of organizations, the key lies in our diverse talent and in the different points of view that contribute to our services and solutions," said Blanca Treviño, President and CEO of Softtek.

In addition to this certification, over the last year Softtek has obtained various recognitions and initiatives related to diversity; among them: the Distintivo Éntrale, for its commitment to inclusion of people with disabilities; likewise, the first generation of Connect.Ada graduated, which promotes the inclusion of women in the IT industry; and launched the GTA 2030 Implementation Guide for Persons with Disabilities.
