The scope of the agreement combines Softtek’s more than 4 decades of experience and worldwide sales network with BOTECH’s expertise in offering cybersecurity fraud prevention, detection and management services.
Softtek, which has close to 15,000 professionals globally, 3,000 of them in Europe, develops digital capabilities seamlessly and constantly, from ideation and construction to execution and its evolution to ensure the business continuity and core operations of its clients. This partnership is a perfect match, combining the former’s capabilities with BOTECH’s extensive knowledge and experience in analytics, fraud management and its broad service offering to prevent and minimise customer risk.
Cybercrime is a growing and ever-changing phenomenon with increasingly sophisticated attacks. According to data from the National Institute for Cybersecurity, there was an alarming increase in cyber attacks during the pandemic, with attacks not only targeting individuals, but also administrations and critical health and energy infrastructures. This is a reflection of the current issues and the great importance of cyber security in all sectors.
Through this agreement, Softtek adds BOTECH’s solutions to its portfolio and strengthens its range of services focused on fraud prevention. The agreement will be deployed globally by combining BOTECH’s operations in Latin America, the United States and Spain with Softtek’s operations in more than 20 countries.
